I believe that any obstacle in life can be overcome. It is during the turbulent times of our lives when we are forced into a place of surrender where we finally stop and take inventory of what is going on in our lives. We relinquish old habits that no longer serve us. We bid farewell to the people and things destined to be in our lives for only a season. We learn. And we persevere.
How do I know? Because I’ve been there.
My place of surrender was on bedrest during a high-risk pregnancy, while staring divorce in the face after a tumultuous marriage, in the abyss of the consequences of a slew of horrific decisions, and embarking on first-time motherhood. All at the same damn time. I felt alone, ashamed, and terrified. But I made it through. Slowly and steadily.
And so can you.
It will take time, lots of work, some tears, and some loss. But you can make it through and be better because of all of it.
The reason I started this blog is to help every woman realize that her own ‘sheroe’ lies within. Despite past abuses, low self-esteem, failures, horrible decisions, or anything else that has stood in the way of your greatness, your ‘sheroe’ is there waiting to connect with you.
Here, I share my life lessons on the highs, lows, and everything in between of womanhood, motherhood, love, resilience, and finally becoming your own ‘sheroe.’ I hope that my journey and lessons make you feel less alone and inspired on your own journey.
Thank you for taking the time to step into my world, and I wish you abundant blessings!
